A lot of photographers never get past the easy up canopy and picnic table or card table type of set up at a tournament. Our business experience brought us to the realization that if you build it they will come. We really didn't have any jitters about spending quite a bit of money building a great on-site presence. We call it the "WOW" factor. That's a generic term, but nevertheless we apply it to what we have done to our on-site set up. We have several different setups we use depending on the size of the tournament or the event we are shooting.
Our on-site printing capabilities are comprised of Shinko and Mitsubishi dye set printers, Epson sublimation printers and of course all of our PCs to take care of the photographs, to proof them, flip them, crop them and so forth. We print the stuff and it's out the door in literally as fast as 10 minutes. It can take a little longer sometimes, but it's very efficient and we are able to keep up when we go to very, very large national type tournaments where there might be as many as a couple hundred teams playing.
The trailer is also equipped with a commercial 16x20 heat press, full wrap coffee mug machine, button press machine and much more. We are capable of producing mousepads, coffee mugs, steins, license plates, keychains, dog tags, team flags, buttons, puzzles and coasters within minutes for the customer. The trailer also allows us to carry our studio lighting system, various backgrounds and green screens.
