Frequently Asked Questions

Action FAQ
What is an on-site photo lab?
Our on-site photo lab is set up inside a custom foot trailer that is equipped with the latest sub-dye printers that can produce a high quality image on photographic paper in seconds, which allows us to deliver that image to the parent that same day. Our trailer is also equipped with a commercial quality heat press, coffee mug machine, button press, laminating equipment and scanners. Needless to say, we are capable of producing just about anything you might want right on the spot.
How do I view my child's photos?
A. If we are shooting a one day tournament or a single elimination tournament we will produce thumbnails immediately following each game. Parents can then view the thumbnails, choose the ones they like and we will produce the photos for them.
B. If we are shooting a multiple day tournament where all the teams will be back on the following day we then print out all the photos as 4x6 prints. The photos are put into team binders for the parents to view, purchase or upgrade to a larger print.
How do I order my child's photos?
After you decide what photos you would like to purchase you can give your order to one of our sales staff at the trailer. If you are ordering one of our upgraded photos such as magazine covers, calendars, pro wallets or game day tickets, etc, make sure to let us know the style number.
How long does it take to get the photos back?
After turning in your order at the sales window you should receive your photos back in approximately 10-20 minutes depending on how many you order, the graphic designs you want and how busy we are at the time you order. Our on-site photo lab is set up to turn out both photos and novelty items quickly so that parents can take them home that same day.
How will my photos look?
Your photos are taken with high quality digital cameras. Each photo is 3072 x 2048 pixels or larger and they are approximately 6 to 10 mega pixels in quality. This means you can get a poster up to 24 x 36 and it will look fantastic. If the photo you choose has wasted space on the top, bottom or sides, we generally will crop to produce a better image.
How are the photos printed?
We carry five printers in our on-site photo lab. We have one wide format sublimation printer that is used for all heat press novelty items such as coffee mugs, mouse pads, etc. There is one large format ink jet printer that is used for all of our 13x19 poster prints. There is one color laser printer that is used strictly for printing thumbnail images. Finally, we carry two lab quality dye-sub printers that print all of our 5x7 and 8x10 photos. These are 100 year fade resistant.
What types of items are available on-site?
What sets us apart from other action photographers in the area is that we can produce just about anything on-site the same day. We can produce prints such as wallets, 5x7, 8x10, or even 13x19. We also offer package prints such as 1-5x7 & 4 wallet prints, 1-5x7 & 2-3x5 prints, etc. Our novelty items include mousepads, puzzles, coffee mugs, keychains, buttons, magnets, bag tags, car flags, license plate frames, dog tags and more. With our huge selection of graphics you can get magazine covers, calendars, memory mates, game day tickets, sports composites and more.
What is a Sports Composite?
We have two types of sports composites to choose from for most sports. The first is a 13x19 mini-poster that includes up to six different photos that are individually placed into borders within the poster. This style of sport composite is available on-site during tournaments and events. The second style of sport composite can be produced in sizes ranging from 13x19 to 24x36. These sport composites must be ordered on-line to allow our graphics team the time to blend the images together to create a once in a lifetime memory. Click here to view a sample.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept both Master Card and Visa at all on-site events.
Does it cost anything for you to shoot at our tournament?
There is never a cost or obligation to the parents or the event coordinator to have us shoot at your event. In fact, your organization may be eligible for commission on the photo products we sell.
How can I get you to shoot at our upcoming event?
You can talk to any one of our sales staff at the on-site photo lab during the event and they will be able to give you information and check our shoot schedule to see if your date is available.
